The City of Burlingame encourages hotel development along Bayshore Highway, considering it among the best uses for this property.
The 1669 Bayshore property alone could support a hotel of up to 78 rooms with 250 feet of frontage on Bayshore Highway, but by combining this property with the 1699 Bayshore property next door, there would be a 2.4 acre development potential, one of the largest hotel development sites remaining near the San Francisco Airport.

It is important to note that most of these hotels are further away from the airport the 1669 Bayshore address, and that their busses drive by the 1669 Bayshore address every day.
